    Description

    vintage COMET toy cast iron cap gun.  It is a single shot cap gun and appears to work.  I have seen this model listed as dating from 1890 and being made by Stevens,  but i am not an expert.
    It is in very good used condition but does show some light rust in hammer area typical of its age. will leave to buyer to address  See photos.  One side is labeled: "COMET" and the other: "Made in USA" (there is some discoloration by this marking;  see photos).  It measures about 7 inches in length by about 3 1/4 inches at the widest part.
