Here's the classic sundress
Cotton Casual
for Barbie, a fashion made from 1959-62!
This outfit is in Excellent and Complete condition, and includes the sundress and white open toe mules.
Your vintage Barbie doll will be ready for summer in this sharp sundress.  This dress is clean and would be Near Mint, except for the retied original ribbons on the bodice.  They were retied by me, and I'm sure there are people out there who could do better:). I don't call anything "Mint" unless I've taken it out of the original packaging.  I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay.  If you have a question that my description hasn't answered, please ask me:). You may want to save me as a seller, as I'm selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay.
The dress looks pretty clean overall, and it still has its original ribbons on the bodice, though the bows have been retied.  I don't see any stains or holes anywhere.  I do notice that the uppermost part of the bodice looks faintly dusty.  The dress will display beautifully, but the white background of the skirt is slightly whiter than the top of the bodice.  The bows were retied by me, and I think if you took a low heat iron, you could press the ribbons straighter.  Or, if the ribbons were retied better they would lay straighter on the bodice.  The dress still has its Barbie tag and intact snaps on the back closure.   The white open toe mules are marked Japan on the bottom of the one shoe, and don't have any splits.
