Thank you for the lovely photos of your number 1941 bowl. Each of our designs has a number in the backstamp that identifies the shape. This unglazed terracotta basket was produced in the 1980s when our founder David Gil was creating many designs in red clay for planters birds bread & breakfast and bread baskets. This leaf-patterned bread basket could be warmed in the oven then lined with a clean towel & filled with sliced bread or rolls to keep them warm at the table.
The clay itself is foodsafe but should be used only for dry serving as moist or oily food would be absorbed into the clay and would be difficult or impossible to remove. Avoid soap or detergent when washing a terracotta dish as the fragrance and other components will also be retained in the pores. Allow to completely airdry before storing to avoid mold.

-If there is a cheaper shipping option I will try to provide it (unless it is fragile and I will only ship it Priority) However the following cheaper options DO NOT include insurance: USPS First Class Mail or USPS Ground or USPS Select Ground or USPS Media Mail. If you choose the cheaper option either:
... you add insurance before you checkout (however if the items value is over 0 (not including shipping) I already added the insurance fee to the handling automatically)

... you do not add insurance BUT you are then responsible for losses if the item gets to you damaged or is lost in transit.
