Nice David Gil For Bennington Vermont Potters Half Large Face Head Wall Art

This auction is for a very interesting large vintage David Gil designed Bennington Vermont Potters large half head face wall art or pottery sculpture as shown in the pictures taken with and without flash. The half face/head sculpture wall piece is in very fine condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. I have not been able to find any signatures or markings on this piece and I don’t know if this piece is only half of the design which came with another half of the head or a stand. I will let you Bennington experts decide. However, this piece would make a great addition to anyone’s midcentury modern or Studio Pottery collection. It would look great on a wall. There is like a waxy rubbery protective substance that runs around the base of the opening I don’t know if this was used for wall or surface protection. The brain area above the ear shows wonderful embossed array of numbers. The piece measures just about 11 and 3/4 inches from top to bottom by around 10 inches from tip of nose to the other end of head. It is approximately a little over 4 inches tall. Please review all pictures carefully as they constitute part of the description.
Due to the amount of increasing claims going unpaid- I will now be forwarding the upaid item cases to Ebay within 2 days after auction end and yes it is allowed!!  For those of you who pay on time don’t take this personally.
