I Hand Crafted this Exotic Zapote wood  Crochet Hook with Susan Bates Silvalume L (8.00 mm) Tip with a Mother-of-Pearl finial inlay.
This Exotic Zapote wood  Crochet Hook
is 7" long overall with the Zapote handle 4 3/8" long and about 3/4" in diameter at its widest. The Susan Bates Silvalume tip  extends 2 5/8" from the handle. This cut of Zapote has has beautiful superfine grain and is a deep soft salmon color with some contrasting muted light coffee brown highlights. The wood handle is tapered to gracefully transition to the metal thumb rest on the hook to provide a longer resting area for the thumb and ease of use with more grip styles. The  finial is my signature natural Iridescent Mother-of-Pearl inlay and is 1/2" in diameter.
If you have arthritis or other hand issues you will appreciate the ease of use with my handcrafted handles
. Have many more hours of relaxed crocheting; good for most grips and hand sizes a medium glove size.
