    Bennington Potters Black on Slate Glaze Spongeware Creamer/Pitcher, 40oz, USA
    Offered for sale is a vintage agate black slate pottery creamer/pitcher glazed with an agate splatter (also called spongeware) in black on slate grey.
    This is a heavy piece of pottery and it has a smooth to the touch matte finish. A quality piece — the kind Bennington Potters is known for.
    It is not marked as the splatter covers the bottom. I believe there is an embossed number on the bottom that can barely be seen through the splatter and I can’t make it out.
