    Description

    This “GIP” cap gun was made in1900 with a 1 star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 65(G8.1.2). This cap gun is 5 1/4 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. It takes a single small cap. The gun has a cylinder that doesn’t rotate. The word GIP is clearly embossed on the left side of the gun, and PAT is clearly embossed on the right side of the gun. There is beautiful decorative scroll work on the grip. This gun is in excellent condition. Please refer to the pictures.
    This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
